STAY Ready, So you don't need to GET Ready! Spirituality to prepare for unexpected moments

At the very beginning of the summer, my older sister's husband passed away.

I found myself spending more time with her than I ever did. We are VERY different from one another. Although her giving & protective nature was a positive aspect, she could be a bit brash and we had different perspectives on spirituality. While I liked the ideal of us bonding more, I am a more sensitive & introverted person, so I found myself drained from the extra time we spent together. I just never knew when I would be needed to go stay the night for a few days or up and leave my home to go with her to appointments or just be a shoulder to lean on. I began thinking ahead...making sure I ate nourishing energy boosting foods, meditate & do light yoga if I knew I would be spending the whole day with her, cleaning her house or running errands.

If I thought she might need me to stay the night, I ensured that my mojo bag was prepped with the right essential oils, crystals & other high vibe things to get me through that service of love that I was called to do. Through this time, I learned how to stay ready in mind, body & spirit, in case my presence was needed in service to another. Here are some ways that I like to stay ready at all times...

Thank you for sharing , you are right We must prepare to Be in Service, it can be draining ,confusing, yet ultimately enlightening if we harness and direct our energy

Even seemingly everyday things , especially now , can be challenging, i find as well , tuning in , focusing , breathing, doing my yoga , and ya come to think of it i do create a lil mojo bags...

I really enjoyed your post — very inspiring. You said ‘ true self ‘ is in childhood— I agree. For many years, I chose not to think about that time but later I realized that I had to . In order for myself to grow , I had to face bad because it wasn’t all bad !! There was also good — me !! Me sitting under tree , writing & listening to birds watching squirrels going up & down tree . My time !!

I’ve been involved w Women Children Abuse Center for years . Before I could only remember Abuse in my childhood but as I helped others , I started remembering feelings of blue sky…
