How IF(Intermittent Fasting)is changing my life.

So many of us get comfortable. Get busy. Get lazy, and then put on unhealthy pounds!

At least that's what happened to me. I spent most my adult life a little over weight, did the yo-yo diet thing a few times, and with every plateau, came the weight gain. The only loss was of motivation, confidence, and the desire to even TRY to stay healthy... But we have all heard this story a million times. Let's cut to the chase... First... What is Intermittent Fasting? Well, there are a lot different ways to do this, but the simplest way to explain it is, that you only eat during certain hours of the day. Some people have a 12, 8, 6, or 4 hour eating window. And "Fast" the rest of the day. I personally have a 4 hour eating window (I was very excited to start this) I stumbled across fasting videos about a year ago. Writing them off as people just spewing lies for views, I paid them no mind. But they kept popping up. With more and more creditable testimonials on IF. I did my own research and thought I give it a shot. I went into this with only weight loss on my mind, and am currently in my fourth month of fasting and happy to say I'm down 35lbs!!! But I fell into a bounty of health benefits, that are making me stronger, giving me more energy, and overall making me a happier, healthier me!!! Studies on Fasting have shown that the health benefits improves your insulin sensitivity, it can help lower blood pressure, decrease cardiovascular disease and improve your cholesterol levels. There are many health benefits but my current favorite is that IF can help you lose weight AND belly fat. It gives me great joy to share my journey. I still have some ways to go. But I am relieved that finally, at 36 I have found a "lifestyle change" (I use to be so annoyed by that term!! Lol) that I know I can live with.

This is so great Mz M.!🌹 Kudos to you! IF is all " the Rage" lol But Fasting has been around for ages! It's Kool to see more folks seeing the positive, healthy affects.

This is something I need to check out and master. Thank you for sharing this. I think this with a high protine, low carb low sugar diet would be an unstoppable force for weight loss?
